Jessica and Doug, the kindest souls, and also high school sweet hearts – envisioned a romantic and intimate outdoor wedding. On their wedding day there were torrential downpours that lasted over 24 hours. The gorgeous setting of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden was the perfect choice, because the weather literally has no effect on the day what so ever. The property has stunning green houses filled with thousands of different plants and landscapes, and the outside, beautiful giant century old trees and amazing ponds and streams dressed with all sorts of beautiful flowers and wildlife. Worried about rain? Get married with a green house involved. You cannot go wrong either way.
No amount of rain could cloud over Jess’ radiance on her wedding day – she is positively resplendent in a customized Pronovias gown. Sleeves were added to the Taciana gown which ended up being the perfect touch for this chilly May day.
As always – we want the photographs to tell the story of the day. We hope you enjoy and feel their love for each other.
