Everyone meet Jaclyn + Paul.  These adorable lovebirds were married on one of hottest and most humid days of 2016 but that did not stop a single soul from celebrating their love to the fullest.

We are huge supporters of meeting someone in a fleeting moment and just knowing that there is something serious and special there, only to have that tested by life circumstance.  (When Brian and I met he was leaving for his job back in Florida just a week and a half later.)  When Jaclyn and Paul met he was leaving very shortly to California to return to his military duty with the Marines.  From here they had a long distance relationship until he could return to the East Coast.

On their wedding day you could feel the happiness and “finally!” in the air  – their first day of marriage was a culmination of all they had been through over time and that they are now going to share their lives as husband and wife from that point forward.

Their wedding day and love story in Jaclyn’s words:

“We met almost five years ago at a bar in New Paltz.  We had mutual friends for years before but our paths never crossed while I was in college/teaching abroad and he was stationed in California serving in the Marines.  It was truly love at first sight though and ever since that night we never stopped thinking about one another.
The first two years of our relationship were long distance and by the time Paul was able to move back home we realized we were having a baby girl!  Our engagement was perfect.  It was Christmas Eve, I was nine months pregnant opening my stocking when I found the most incredibly, sparkly surprise inside.  It was our very own private moment, but we got to share it with all of our family the very next day!
Our wedding day priorities were to find a place we felt represented who we were as a couple.  We loved Lippincott Manor because it was beautiful and classy, but also laid-back and fun.  We also wanted to include as many of our loved ones as possible.  We definitely were ambitious with a large guest list and 20 member wedding party!
Our wedding day was probably on  the hottest day either of us have ever experienced.  Despite the heat, everyone at our wedding had a blast dancing the night away.  It was truly the most beautiful, heart warming ceremony led by the father of the groom followed by a wild summer party (complete with guests jumping in the near by river to cool off). I love the fact that people are still talking about our wedding.  It keeps all the great memories alive.”
